Sorry to kind of derail the thread.... but just wanted to point out that I no longer have a bourke parakeet. I had to make the hard decision to put my girl to sleep last year at the approximate age of 19 years old. She was a girl that, despite her health issues, she didn't want to die. Not even at the vets office when I finally had to make that decision for her. It was tough. :17:


But I guess points still count since I used to have bourkes?

Monica, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Knowing the kind of parront you are, and the quality of life you always strive to achieve for your flock, I'm sure that she must have felt happy and loved right up until the end.

As for the points, yes, they do still count. Once a member of PF's feathered family, always a member. Even after crossing the Rainbow Bridge.

These guys seem to be great observers and learners...they appear to be great characters too that can land you in it with what they say, and con you into answering the door when there is nobody there hee hee... ...I also learned the visual difference between the CAG and the TAG which up until now I did not know nor did I know the abreviation of CAG for Congo African Grey and TAG for Timneh African Grey
