Hey all! Been a while!

I'm currently fostering (to eventually own most likely) a cockatiel who was found outside and surrendered at the animal shelter where I work. I'm in the process of hunting down his family (he's SO friendly, there's no way he wasn't loved!)

But, if I can't find them............... He has a home with me!

I'm trying to decide on a name right now. Any ideas? To give you a hint on what my fiance is looking for, she recently suggested "Sir Feathersworth II, Esquire"

Gladly!

Any updates? :)

I think parrots do well to be named after muppets. But in the cockatiel situation I think you could find a punk musician (who has a Mohawk or other perky hairstyle)

Sid Vicious
Souxsie
Banshee
Psychedelic
Billy Idol

Annie Lennox had a spikey platinum hairdo, as did David Bowie. Sting? Elvis Costello? Elvis (Presley)?

And then there are the hair bands of the 80s, giving us Leppard, Gunnar, Bon Jovi, poison, etc.

(Making fine use of my choral education at the UW.)
