I need some advice on cage for my parrot
I have a pretty big corner cage for my parrot, too big even for the spot I have for it. I have a yellow collared macaw and I got a corner cage that’s 100x100cm back and front 59x59x59cm its height is 185/150cm inside, problem is it’s too big that I’ve gotten to the point I hate cleaning the dam thing because I barely can move it around.
I’m thinking of downgrading the cage size and I found this one off eBay and it’s definitely smaller, visual difference in the photo with paper, the smaller cage is 13cm shorter on the inside but with it being smaller I definitely can add better play gyms on the outside and not hate cleaning it since I can move it.
My question is would my parrot hate being in the smaller one? I know he’ll get use to it but would it be too small for him in general. Some key notes during the day his cage is always unlocked, he doesn’t stay inside his cage unless he just wants to sit there or food, otherwise he’ll go on top or play gym.
