Need help/advice regarding cage issues.

I was pretty much settled on a flight cage I'd found on Amazon but once I got it here, it looks too flimsy. I've been trying to find a cage that is no less than 24x24 with 1/2 inch bar spacing and I'm having no luck. Seems that once a cage reaches 24x24, the bar spacing goes up to 3/4 inch.

Ideally, I'd like one similar to the Atwee is getting, with the playtop and the seed guards. Looks like the makers of her cage are phasing cages out though so I guess I'm out of luck there.

I'm trolling Ebay, Amazon and Craig's List but I was hoping some of you parrot owners might know of other sites I can check out. Thanks!

If you are getting a Sun Conure I don't think you will have a problem with 3/4 bar spacing. I have been looking for months for a cage for my grey, and my ringneck could use a new one. Its like finding a needle in a hay stack.

Even a baby/adolescent sun conure?

The cage Rio put up is the cage I actually have and I love it!

I've never actually used it yet, but it is spacious, easy to access(One large door for you, small door for the bird and panels to put the food in rather than sticking your entire hand inside to change food/water out) and generally looks good. I like the playtop too, especially the open and close aspect.

Petco.com has fantastic pirices and quality cages. I found a very good one with 1/2 bar spacing which is hard to find.

Even a baby/adolescent sun conure?

I don't know how suns are as babies, so that I don't know. Petco does have some really nice cages, but as I have stated before, my ringneck, who is longer then a sun, but more slender, has 1 inch bar spacing. It works fine for him. So I think it would all depend on the parrot.
