New CAG bird mom~

Hi everyone, just an introduction. I've got a small flock with plans to expand. My bird companions are a Lilac-Crowned Amazon, been with me for 25 years (pet store). Our female Severe macaw just passed away (she had been my bonded buddy, with me for for 20+ years), so I adopted a 3 yr old DNA male CAG from a bird rescue.

Looking for tips for training and understanding these grey fluffies. Any advice is much appreciated!!

In the next few years, I plan to add a female macaw to the flock (hybrid or a green species...the Amazon has a dislike for the color red). Advice on that would be helpful also!

Welcome to the forums, and my deepest condolences for the loss of your female Severe.
