new cage!

I bought a flight cage for kiwi,and it is much larger than what he lives in now. Does changing cages cause stress, and also should I place his cage next to a wondow? Right now he isn't.

I use a flat top flight cage for each of my three parrots. Each of my birds cages are placed in front of a sliding glass panel from our two sliding glass doors. they are on the north side of the house overlooking our back yard and a golf course so they can watch the other birds and people ect. They are not in direct sun. I personally like being able to have them have a view besides the house. They also love to watch anybody that is out on the back lani. My quaker takes a little while to get used to things so you might want to set the cage up next to the other for a couple of days and put some food and water in there and allow him to explore and play and see if he goes into it by himself
