Parrots
Pineapple conure
Hi,
After I recently lost a conure I recently posted about.
I got the confidence of getting another pineapple conure.
Her name is Kiwi, she is 7 months old! Very playful, very sensitive to noise. Hit the window twice but we now cover the curtains so hopefully no more accidents. She was alot better today. Loves cuddles.

Awwwwwwww congrats, @Mickyduk and welcome to the flock, Kiwi! I wish the two of you a long and happy life together full of love! 💖

Welcome to you and Kiwi! I think she might actually be a dilute! She looks just like my Ona ❤️

Wonderful! Helping another pet is a good way to honor the ones we've lost.

I'm so glad you got a new baby after yours passed away during a nail trim. We could tell how hard you, your girlfriend and her daughter took his death. I think it's best sometimes to get another bird without waiting too long because the quiet, empty cage is often too much to bear. Your new baby Kiwi was put on this planet to fill that void. Enjoy your new baby!

Yeah, was the right decision, although it is quite scary looking after a newbie. She definitely is very sensitive to sound/movements & panic flies. Scared of accidents but I make sure windows have curtains closed on them.

Was definitely meant to happen. I asked girlfriend daughter what name for a female conure. She named "Kiwi or pickles" When I got her, I didn't know her name. The tenants didn't allow pets and he was sad to let her go.
She tells you when she wants to go to bed, she climbs in her triangle bed & lays down to sleep. Also she says her own name & makes wonderful chirping sounds. She nips a bit but not painful. She lets you stroke her when she wants it 🤣
