Hello and thank you for accepting me as a member.

I Live in France with my husband and elderly Bichon Frise, Sparky. Plus our new baby Alexandrine parakeet Lexi.

We have previously owned a Ducorps Cockatoo and a Derbyan parakeet but Lexi is our first baby. We picked him or her up 2 days ago and at 4 weeks old we are hand feeding (we are not total novices since my husband used to breed parakeets )

Levi is feeding well and gaining weight and like all new mums I can't wait for her to grow up !

I'm sure I will have many questions along the way so thank you in anticipation of your help !

Once I get used to the forum you will be sick to death of the pictures believe me! I'm the meantime I'm just thrilled to find somewhere to take about Alexandrines ! After a 9 hour drive to collect her up near the Belgian border then home again we are all a leetle bit tired �� today !

If you have any questions at all about Alexandrines, there are a lot of very experienced, long-time owners here in the Alex forum, so don't ever hesitate to ask...The same goes for any Hand-Raising/Hand-Feeding questions, we have a "Breeding" forum as well.
