New owner from new mexico

First off just saying hi to everyone, I am now the proud owner of a 10 year old double yellow headed amazon, his name is skipper and he is a clown. Just figured I would find a group that I can look to for advice. Hope to talk to some people soon.

Thanks everyone, and I've only been a amazon owner for a few days now, and I know its going to be some work but skipper is awesome only isue I have is you cant pet him but thats for another time after I have him for a few months and get some trust built up.
