had an urge to bake yesterday,so I made a birdybread, and it is a big hit with my 2 parrots ,mt canary and my daughters 2 sugar gliders. I used 2 pkgs jiffy cornbread mix, 4 eggs, 1 cup zupreem fruity pellets broken down in the food processor with 1/2 cup water tii disolved ,1 mango pureed, 2 jars baby food applesauce,1 box frozen, thawed w inter squash, 1 ear of corn, 1box prediced fresh multicolored peppers,1/2 bag thawed fresh cranberries chopped, 2 teaspoons cinnamin with more sprinkled on top. bake in a 380 oven in a nine by thirteen pan till toothpick inserted in middle comes clean took about 30 to 40 min to bake. cool cut into cubes and freeze. The house really smelled good. another original recipie I thought I would share while I still rember what I put in it. haha.....Alison and sweetie pie:D

This is a good recipe except for the Jiffy Corn Bread. It has to much salt and sugar. I use Red Mill Corn Bread and Brown Rice flour.

sounds delicious! i'll have to try that for oscar. once my mon made birdie bread, with no pellets or seed in it, and i even started eating it. it was REALLY good lol, its a good food to eat with your bird. sounds like a great recipe, maybe i'll try it today.

Momto3 I didn't know how to pm this so i hope this will bring the recepie back up. all three of my parrots love it as does my canary.:D
