New to the forum

Henlo fellow birds people I’m new to the forum here and would just like to post about it.
I have a singular cockatiel who’s pied, he’s named skittles and he’s absolutely adorable, but because I don’t have much to talk about so I guess I’m just going to tell skittles and my bird journey. So basically how this happened was I was working on this project in school where we were supposed to disguise a turkey and at this time I was not knowledgeable about birds so I colored it what I perceived as a parakeet but when finally looking at an online picture I realized that I did not draw it right so than my mind flipped to this other pet bird I’ve seen the “cockatiel” and thus I looked up a picture of it and my mind was graced with its magnificence. Later that night while I was sleeping a switch flipped in my mind and the next morning I did a bunch of research on birds and the rest is history, almost a year later I got skittles and gizmo my to precious cockatiels, unfortunately gizmo developed a cold and passed on, which continues to be one of the most heartbreaking things in my life.

But since than I’ve moved and now am still living life with my baby boy skittles. Anyways bye, enjoy some pictures of

Welcome to the forums, @TheSillyBirbHouse!1!1 and Skittles! I'm so sorry for your loss of Gizmo and agree that it is heartbreaking. Somehow the loss of a bird just hits different, I don't know why but it does. But it's so good to have you two on board and I hope you enjoy the forums!

**Waves a wing henlo** Allo Allo! Cockatiels are easily one of my favorite birds! My old man is 23 and still going strong.
