Normal chick behaviour, yawning, stretching?

Hi all,

Have been raising rejected babies for 11 days now. Mum threw them out the same day as my neighbour had a carbon monoxide leak. They were thrown in the first days of hatching and I'm currently on day 11 of feeding formula. Weight gain is going well but noticed one is doing these movements and I can't for the life of me remember if it's normal.

I am raising baby ringnecks for the second time, all is going well but I've noticed one of them is 'yawning' or stretching their throat. This lasted a bit, I took her out of the brooder to inspect but nothing to be seen. They continued the behaviour so I would like to know if anyone knows why?

They're asleep now so my guess is normal but rather be safe than sorry!

Its hard to say because none of us are bird vets. I've handraised baby budgies and haven't seen this but at that age they tend to just beg, eat until full, and sleep until they're hungry again.
Are they both eating well and frequently? Are they growing at about the same rate?
If you're concerned you should take your babies to an avian vet. it's challenging to transport babies that need a temperature controlled brooder (are they in a brooder?). I have a small portable incubator/brooder that I plug in to a small inverter generator for car trips. I had to bring my babies to work with me to feed them every few hours.
