not eating??

My sun is about 7-8 weeks now im still hand feeding him. recently hes not eating to much he rejects the food. also hes very active flies around makes noise. Is this normal? when he should start eating by him self?

I'm no expert but I think you need to continue to handfeed for another month or two before letting him start eating on his own.

When my conure was a baby i always left fresh seeds for him when it got close to time for him to wean. He will eat the seeds when he's ready.

you should have started giving him foods to try already

Also my sun conure loved strawberry's and papaya. I would just try differents fruits and such hope this helps!!
