Just for fun:

Baxter is probably the least food motivated bird I've ever met, but her ultimate treat... scratches and snuggles from dad. She would, and often does, sit there for hours sometimes, just soaking them in. Yeah, she's a bit of a daddy's girl.

That's my girl! I'm so glad she refused to take no for an answer and convinced me to bring her home. I can't imagine my life without her now. She's so funny, and definitely my little love bug, even though everyone else in the house is afraid of that beak. LOL!

Yeah, she was persistent, that's for sure. Some time later, the refuge owner mentioned that she didn't know what she would have done if I didn't take her. Once I became her chosen one, she wanted nothing to do with anyone else. It was so sad, but it all worked out for the best.

Oh yay! I edited my post to include the video. She’s a basketball pro now for sure! I got the hoop on Amazon.
