Great idea, Saxie... great idea!
I'm rummaging through the scrapbook looking for a worthy entry...
I can guarantee The Rickeybird will not disappoint. Can't wait :)

Just for fun:

I think JJ’s body language in these two pictures is saying: “ I love my flamingo,” and “These are my seeds; back off!” 😁

Love your flamingo, just don't... LOVE your flamingo 🤣
And I will most definitely not be messing with JJ's seeds. I like my fingers...

This Month's Theme:

Show Us That BODY! (Language)

A little known thing, the first Friday of October is

National Body Language Day. Yes, something parrot people know all too well,
that means of communication without spoken words. A posture, facial expression,
or simply turning away and ignoring. Whatever it is, it's clear and unmistakable.

Show us your parrots doing anything that makes their point. Fluffy head, side eye,
whatever ways they tell you something.

You WILL love me, Dad. Right now! (yes, I'm protecting my lips. Tucker can be kinda demanding and grabby)

Scritches, please? (Pay no attention to the lack of shave!)

The contest will run from now until the morning of October 29th (Eastern USA time) at which time there will be a three day polling period. Winner will be announced the morning of November 1st. The winner will receive a free, one year Supporting Membership to Parrot Forums, a nice little "Parrot of the Month" banner on your profile, and the winning entry will be displayed on the forum homepage for the following month. The winning photo will also be automatically entered into our Photo of the Year Contest for next year!!!

Only one "Official Entry" per person, however, you may submit as many "Just for Fun" entries as you like! Videos and photoshopped images will be allowed, but not required.
Please don't forget to tell us your bird's name in your post. :)

Good luck everyone!

Nice beak color on that Ekkie! Uglow doesn't bit lips, but loves diving inside my mouth. I have to hide when I brush my teeth. Luckily, if I yawn he just yawns too.
