I'm in Melbourne, AUS, and I have heard so much, and watched some crazy storm chasers videos today. It looks absolutely insane there.

We lived there for 8 years, and I still have friends there.

The poor Great Plains! My grandparents live in Nebraska and I worry about them as well. I'm so relieved they did not choose Oklahoma as their home. Tornadoes are such a terrifying thing, i wish only thise who wished to see their incredible power got to witness them safetly. I always keep them in my thoughts, stay strong!

I watched a documentary on the destructive tornados. Thy said that the southern pacific sea next to Peru is colder this year, when this happens the weather is particularly bad because cooler air strikes warmer air causing more sever thunderstorms.
