I posted this morning about how I just got a new parent-raised budgie with the hope of him becoming a companion for my existing budgie. I was really happy to see them getting along so well, talking up a storm and kissing at each other. Now I think that the baby wasn't kissing so much as begging for food, and Bean seems to have taken it upon himself to start regurgitating for him. Is this something I should worry about? And is it a baby behavior, or mating behavior? They are both (probably) males if that makes a difference. Also, Bean's aim seems to be a bit off, as the baby got food all down his front and had to get a spray-bottle bath, lol.

I don't see anything wrong with an older bird feeding a younger bird.

Reminds me of these videos of parrotlets I ran across a while ago:

They were introduced when he was older, and she was still a baby birdy! :)

And then, when she grew up

This would be really weird if it was humans.

Loved those videos, Remy...

Well I guess I'll just let them be and hope Bean's aim gets better!
