I'm back in the hospital because of POTS, while Otto enjoys his Grandpa time.
Hopefully one day this will be under control and Otto and I can return to a normal of some sort.

I really hope things improve for you. I just read about POTS. Sounds unpleasant at best.

I used to have PSVT (paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia) which is an arrhythmia caused by a short circuit in rhe hearts electrical wiring. It caused my heart to start beating at 200 BPM which is so fast that my heart couldn't fill with blood between beats and my blood pressure would drop to 70/50. Couldn't even stand up and walk during an episode without passing out and it would do it for a full day sometimes. They did an ablation procedure a few years ago and fixed it- never came back. I think POTS cause is more complex and can't be fixed with ablation.

That sounds really scary, I'm glad you got it fixed and are hopefully feeling better. They tell me I can manage POTS but no cure for it. They're recommending salty snacks.

My problem was fixed easy according to the doctor who did it but having tubes and wires threaded up into my heart to do it was nerve wracking for sure.

I read that about salt and POTS. I'd have no problem upping salty snacks! Shelled pistachios with sea salt. All day long. I did read that as long as you don't fall during a POTS episode its a not life shortening condition by itself. Neither was my problem but the longer my episodes lasted the more stress and strain they put on the heart because it would beat so fast. Usually PSVT episodes last less than an hour but mine were lasting more than a day. Falling was the biggest problem.
