Hi everybody!
So, my cockatiel has hurt her foot again. Think of when you pull dead skin from your finger and accidentally go too deep and get to tender red skin. It's like that. My tiel is licking at it, and holding the foot up when she rests, but otherwise is using it normally.
Can I make her foot feel better while it heals? Or can I bandage it for her so she doesn't feel the need to pick at it? Last time this happened she was absolutely fine and it healed on it's own, but if I can do something I would like to. I've checked the area and once again the only thing I think could cause this is the tops of the doors, which is a favorite landing spot of hers. I'm going to have to sand them.
Also, for anyone who's seen my previous posts about Iggy's health- good news! She went to the vet recently and received a general checkup/blood tests/gram stain and she's very healthy. Everything was normal and good!
