Parrot ate tomato!

I was eating chips and salsa with my quaker parrot on my shoulder. A chunk of tomato from the salsa fell on my shirt and my bird ate the whole chunk. I tried to stop him but he swallowed it. It's the Walmart brand medium chunky salsa. Will he be okay?? Thank you!!!!!!

As far as I know your bird would be fine. I don't think there's anything in the ingredient that would be super bad for a bird. I guess you have a salsa loving bird....

IMO he will be fine.

The leaves and stems of tomato plants are toxic, not the actual tomatoes.
