I have been browsing Amazon at parrot cookbooks but not sure which one I should buy. Anyone with some insight on which one they like the best and why would be so helpful.

My very favorite was a gift from a friend. Nourish To Flourish, A Healthy Cookbook for Parrots, produced by the Phoenix Landing Foundation, A Non-Profit Welfare Organization for Parrots Compiled by Ann Brooks.

It has a lot more than just recipes. It tells you what foods are the most beneficial and why. The recipes are easy to follow and my flock loves the results. It has lots of helpful hints and great information.

:D Oh, the evil thoughts the title of this thread brings to mind... :p

And there have been times I've been tempted to open that cookbook and try out a few of those recipes...

Like the one for Dusky Conure in a honey BBQ Glaze...

Well, when he misbehaves I generally threaten to roast him, but I suppose they could also be baked, broiled, or fried:16: (J/K!!!!)

I actually really love the cookbook Birdtricks put out. For single bird homes, you have to get a bit creative with adjusting the amounts of some of the recipes (portions are intended for large flocks), but overall, I have been impressed and enjoyed making my bird yummy foods. I know a lot of people don't like their marketing tactics, but my bird likes their recipes, the recipes are nutritious and are "fun" enough to encourage picky birds to enjoy. Thats what matters to me. https://www.birdtricks.com/naturalfeeding/
