I'll try to get some good pics of him today, but he does try to eat my camera, lol! Bear in mind in them though that he still has a lot of his icky old feathers. Some of them are driving him nuts. But, his feet and beak look healthy now, and he is finally growing real feathers on the outsides of his thighs, where he only used to have downy feathers. I was very happy when I noticed those yesterday.

Hey Roxy, My Toby is Molting like crazy right now and of course is very Moody, How long does Molting usually last? I was scratching his head last night and hit a pin feather and he tried to bite because I am sure its painful but there are little white fluffy feathers everywhere.

He has been molting since I got him in November. I'm not sure how much longer it's going to take, but with his being malnourished I'm sure it is hard for him to make new feathers. However, it has suddenly started speeding up and he's losing feathers left and right now. I wish I could give you a better answer, but I don't actually know yet what should be normal for an amazon.
