Pictures of our former, beloved Burbs

I've slowly started adding pictures from my photo albums to my digital library and found some pix of birds I had loved, like my first cockatiels and my first birds, ever! I was wondering if they had pictures of their first birds or special birds they wanted to mention here?

Below are Proto and Shrayle, my first two birds EVER.

LOL! I have sooo many dino books! Between the books on bird care and dinosaurs and art... I have enough for monster-making classes .

I like this thread.

The big female English budgie is Lilibet and the regular blue male is Buddy, the first budgie I got here in Maine 8 years ago. Rocky is their daughter. Lilibet died from a stroke two years ago and Buddy died when almost three years ago when Rocky was a baby.
The green budgie is Hunter who died a couple years ago. The blue boy to his right is Beau, Rocky's boyfriend.

I wish I had more pictures of my dearly departed budgies. That was a few phones ago.

I have been working on putting together some old photos of Bingo but not ready to upload yet.
I have been holding back because I want to put a little memorial together but can't find the right location.
however.
I have an old picture of Plumas and Bingo from 4o years ago I can share as I wasn't going to include it in the thread.
This was before digital camers and before I knew what a proper cage was for a large parrot.

In this picture Bingo is so young he has no yellow on his neck yet.

Plumas was a wild caught OWA.
He was our first bird.
He never learned to talk and was never very friendly but he did learn to trust us eventually.
We tried to make his life as stress free as possible considering his circumstances.
He found a friend/partner in Pacho and had many happy years.
Plumas died late in 2016, shortly after we adopted Bella.

I think he must have had several small strokes TIA’s or seizures as he started falling off his perch.
The vet thought it was arthritis and gave him pain meds that didn’t help.

He ended up passing away at the vet (not avian vet, he was unavailable at the time).

I have a pic of them together I will post later.
