Ok the kids and I deside to make mini pizza for lunch. We put them on the table left the room for to seconds Annie come to me while I'm helping Chris clean up says Sammy is eating the pizzas. We all go see there he is taking bites out of each one. How he got from the living room to the kitchen table so fast we don't know he clipped for now. And he was not happy when I moved him back to his perch lol.
Oh! And if your wondering we stil eat the pizzas lol:D

yep mine loves the crust and I'd say that he got there by flying FYI keep an eye on open windows and doors.

Isn't it funny how our birds will eat what is on our table but not what is on their plate. Rosie just took a bite of my peach cobbler.

In Puck's last outing, he made my friend's friend quite uncomfortable when he insisted that her pizza belonged to him. <3

Hope the thread jogged a pleasant memory for you.

I was sorry to hear about Puck.

It's taken me a while to figure out what to feed Piki. I was told by the breeder they would eat dry mix, wet mix, fruit, veg. It took him a while to get into his fruit and veg, but now he eats most. Apples, pears and nashis he won't eat if you give him a nice slice. Totally ignores it. But give him the cores and he devours them. I used to take out the pips as I know they are poisonous, but don't have to anymore. Piki removes them and spits them out of his cage onto the floor. My vet suggested he might need protein as in the wild they will eat insects. So now it's chop and steak bones with a little meat and gristle left on. Needless to say he loves them and when he's finished there's not a scrap of meat or gristle left. And with the protein in his diet his feathers are even more radiant.

Sassy loves Italian food! She won't let me wipe the spaghetti sauce off her chin, from lunch!

Hey BMac! My birds love scrambled eggs, another good form of protein you might try.

Oh.......and they LOVE seafood as well, mine especially like steamed crab legs. (no, they don't get it often.) I really think it boils down to what DON'T they like

Mine is the same. He'll come down and steal anything off your plate that he can get his beak on.

Once he tires of it, he feeds it to the dog.

Mine loves eggs as well :) He climbed up the table cloth (it was weighted down with the place settings) and helped himself to my plate of breafast. I was terrified when I couldn't find him on the cage, and lo and behold he was breakfasting at the table with us. (He loves pizza crust too!)

my grey goes nuts for pizza. when she smells it cooking she knows something is up and if i dare walk by her cage with a slice she will act like she has been starved and climbs all over her cage squawking until i give her a piece.
