Hi everyone,

Iā€™ve joined the forum to ask for advice.

Our budgie Blue, who weā€™ve had for 3 years, has become ill.

Her Symptoms are:
She has had a lump of poo on her vent which we removed for her.
She has vomited once.
She is still eating, drinking and pooing.
She is very lethargic and sleeping a lot.
She looks like she is struggling to breath.
She is looking disheveled.

Please help any advice is really appreciated.

Thanks Mick

Do you have an avian vet you can take her to? She sounds and looks very ill and I think that only a vet will be properly able to care for her, and the sooner the better.

Here is a list of vets around the world that may help:

I'm so sorry your girl is sick and I pray she gets better soon.

Ahhh poor baby..
Your little sweetheart is very ill, life threatening sick.

She will need veterinarian care to give her a chance.

Sick bird care is to keep them extra warm. Provide what ever they are willing to eat within reason. Line bottom of cage with a towel incase loose grip and fall.

Laura is correct. Your birdie looks really puffed and unwell. Please let us know what happens at the vets!

She is a pretty budgie.
