Pritti (Cherry-Head Conure) -- Fly in Peace my beautiful boy. Forever I'll love you.
Hi. I posted some photos in album of Pritti's vacation pics. He's having lots of fun. Took him a few weeks to fully let loose, but's he's in the swing of things now.

I don't know if I inserted a photo correctly in this post, but here goes. RuffledFeathers clued me in on how to do it (thanks RF).

cute! nice vacation, Pritti! Looks like you are enjoying the view out your window and not getting yourself into too much trouble. :)

Yeah, we're having fun. He's loving all the new spaces to explore. Last night he just wanted to play and play and play. He wouldn't go to sleep and conned me into 'enabling' him, by being so cute, lol.

Thanks for stopping by to see Pritti's album.

Since you are from Florida I am hoping you are vacationing in my beautiful Tennessee Smokey Mountains :) Pritty is a beautiful bird!

Great pictures! It looks like Pritti is having a great time!

I know that plucking is unfortunate, but I think his pink belly is cute. It looks like it needs some kisses!

Pritti plucked those feathers out about 15 or 16 yrs ago at a traumatic time in his life. We moved to a a condo in the sky (high up in the mountains) and he went from spending virtually 24 hours a day with one or both of us, to being alone during day for "business hours" when we stopped working at home and went out to work daily. So he was in a new home environment (but still in the "best" location in condo) -and- trying to adjust to being alone all day. Then, he just never let them grow back in, being preoccupied to keep that area "pretty" and clean. We even tried the satellite dish thingy via the avian vet, and they all grew back, but they he plucked clean afterward. So we kind of figure it is Pritti's own style and he has seemed none the worse for it. Plus it's stylish in hot Florida where we live now :-) .

Thanks all, you're making him blush ... his cheeks are all red now, lol.

Pritti is a lovely cherry head! Love the photos! :)
