Sorry for the low picture quality! I wanted to share some pics of the babies my conure couple has raised. My male is a Black Capped Conure and my female is a Green Cheek Conure who seems to be some mix of Cinnamon and Pineapple mutations. The babies are hybrids, but my conures are in the same genus, so the babies should be healthy and I haven't had any health issues with them so far. We only ended up with 2 chicks in the first clutch and 1 this time around due to multiple factors causing us to lose a lot of eggs, but everything goes smoothly after the eggs hatch. My conures are incredible parents.
This is them, Poe the GCC and Killian the BCC.
Here are the two chicks from the first clutch. I didn't get many photos because I was afraid of interfering too much.
It's hard to make it out, but the older baby is on top of his newly hatched sibling here. ^
It's hard to see here, but the babies basically looked just like their dad but with brighter colors in some places and tails that are a dark greenish red instead of black.
This is the baby currently being raised, who hatched on New Years Day! v
^ This was yesterday, I placed him on my chest and he crawled up to my neck and laid like this. He's MUCH friendlier to humans than his older siblings were!
