Hi, does anyone here have any experience with red breasted parakeets such as these:

I'm from the tropics and a breeder up north offered one of his breeding pairs to me. I don't have intentions of breeding them, but I'd love to keep them and include them as part of my parrot family.
The pair is semi-tame and proven. They also appear to be in really good condition.
I currently own a nearly 10-month-old cockatiel and a nearly 10-week-old sun conure, and love the amount of joy and peace they give me.
So does anyone on this site have any experience owning this type of parakeet?
