Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
Some of you may recall that about five years ago I had to rehome Jonesy my Goffin. I found an awesome family that took him in and he is doing well. Well the other day I ran into TJ,the lady who took him in ( her daughter renamed him BOB ) and she told me she is moving..out of the country  and can't take him with her :( It's breaking her heart and she asked if I knew of anyone who would take him in.I can't...I told her whatever she does,NOT to post on Craigslist and I don't know of a sanctuary or shelter around here..I feel for the beady-eye'd so-and-so

I'm not sure when 'she' is planning on leaving, but if it is soon, there are a ton of Countries that are not open! She needs to confirm that her Country of choice will allow her entry. That will require that she contact the US State Department and determine if that Country is open and what documentation she will need. The World is a very different place today.

Sorry about the need for a new home.

Have her check with her Avian Medical Professional as they are a good source for individuals looking for a Parrot.

Oh no let’s hope someone here has a solution!

Bob? [emoji55]

I believe she is from Pakistan and unfortunately I'm pretty sure Bob hasn't seen any CAV since he has been with her

Al...wtf indeed!:52:

Pakistan! I'm not making any judgements, but Pakistan is struggling to care for their own. All they need is an America /Pakistan at this point. Unless she is a skilled medical professional, IMHO, they likely do not need her right now... JMTC...

If I could only get to Connecticut. As I have said, I am not species intent anymore. I really don't care for Cockatoo, or your louder birds, or non speaking birds like cockatiels, but will accept any bird offered free with its' cage; within a three hour drive. AND it will not be flipped. jh
