In all due respect this was much overdue, and I must say sorry to these birds for not doing this sooner.
Mochi the Green Cheeked Conure: My favorite little green cheeked gremlin, Mochi was an absolute wonder of a bird while I had him, he was about 8 months old when he passed to an unfortunate accident (Had family members over, he latched onto loose clothing and got sat on and crushed.) He was a sweetheart who'd bite your ears and cuticles, but he'd scream to be grabbed and get snuggles before going to bed. Rest in peace little buddy, you'll be missed.
January 2024 - August 2024.
Bolt the Cockatiel: My first bird who got me into parrots in the first place, he was my best buddy while I had him. He wasev going to be six this year, and he died to severe night fright on Mother's Day. I went to unwrap his cage, as I wrap blankets around the cage to dampen sounds and make it completely dark, but he was limp on the cage floor. Bolty was quite the funny bird, as he loved music and talked a lot. His favorite songs included the Jurassic world main theme, Reggae, and September and he was able to say: Pretty Bird, Pretty Boy, Step Up, and Good Boy. He was quite the escape artist and managed to escape or least get out of the house at least 5 times, and I was able to get him back every single time. Rest in peace bud, I wish you were still up to your escapades.
