my name is Larissa and I will be going off to college in August to S&T and wanted to take a pet. I have had a wide variety of pets my entire life and I cannot ever imagine being without one. I decided to take a bird with me to college to keep me company, so here is introducing my green cheek pineapple conure Rico. He is 5 months old right now and we are already attached at the hip. He has so much personality that sometimes I think he is human. I joined so I can ask questions to others who own conures if I have questions. Thanks for all the help in advance!

Welcome! Would love to see some pics. I wouldn't worry too much about the travel. Ducati's previous owner said she used to put his whole cage in the front seat with a seat belt and take down his toys so the aren't swinging and hitting him in his face.
