So I was at the shelter all day yesterday and gave everyone inside the house a spray bath. So Rosie looked messy


And got Sweetie Monster out to hang out with me while I took a break from all the cage cleaning.

And you know Rosie might be a bit institutionalized but Sweetie Monster is still available:54:

She does cages inside every other day and yesterday was cage cleaning....was so tired...not used to all that physical activity anymore and running up and down the stairs... plus I only had my heeled boots and my flip flops...need to remember different shoes...I've been running around in socks today!!

I think theres like 5 birds I'd steal....Max, the new amazon, Jeannes senegal, Sweetie Monster, and theres a new red belly in quarantine that is friendly....

Welcome to the forums! I am Victoria's mother (riddick07).

Are you a volunteer for AHW? Victoria is working on getting the newsletter started again. I take care of all the petfinder listing for Jeanne and John as well as help with adoption screening and coordination. If Sweetie has all that personality for you, think about adopting her. She is so beautiful but does not show that personality to adopters! Rosie has been my favorite but he's so attached to April and the others he would never be happy as an only zon

If you haven't been to shelter in a while and remember the demon bare eyed half naked Too Folger? One volunteer called him a vampire we are the crazy people who adopted him. Really my daughter, but he's a sweet love bug for her, you can search Folger and find a ton of videos, he has his own fan club here!

Sweetie Monster is a beautiful girl, but she has been a bullish brute with other birds at the shelter. I am guessing ChattyCat might know her before her surrender to the shelter or such with knowing Sweetie loves the car, but unfortunately she's been a bully with other birds there.

She is gorgeous tho! If anyone wants a quiet zon, she is definitely a top pic! She might blossom more back in a home environment. She is one of the birds on my list of trying to get more exposure for to get an interested adopter.
