My Rio keeps breaking/shedding( I don't know what it's called) his tail feathers and they are usually ruffled. Is it a bad sign? Coco's feathers seemed to be all trimmed. But Rio's isn't. What does it mean? What do I do? Should i be worried? I've attached pictures.
Thank you

unless you observe her damaging her feathers through over-preening I wouldn't worry too much. Being young she's most likely just knocking them in her cage or whenever she lands on a flat surface. How old is she? She may be due a molt soon

LordTriggs is right and imagine having a long tail when your moving around. Its gonna catch on things. My Quakers tail gets ruffled sometimes because he is diving and clinging onto toys ect x

It is completely normal. They all have different characters. Some like their tails&feathers very well groomed some like "messy hair don't care" style lol.

Clark had a few ardent feathers for a bit then some new ones came in nice and perfect. I wouldn't worry it's like shark's teeth, new ones will replace the beat up ones.

Thank you. That's a relief. Yes Rio is a naughty boy. Loves trouble [emoji7] and is a restless candidate [emoji23]. He's 7 months old.
