So I have ran into a problem with Fred. It seems he has grown an liking for scabs.
Being it is mosquito season I have a few on my legs and he will instantly go and try to grab a scab. I've tried to curb this by putting him away or yelling ouch but he has gotten more and more persistent with it. If I'm not paying attention for a second and he is within range he rips it off. Its really getting annoying and starting to hurt as after the fact he goes back again and again. I'd hate to cage him up until I'm all healed up but it's looking more and more like I may have to keep Fred at bay until I am scab less.
Has anyone else ran into a similar gross/weird situation with there birds, and what did they do to stop this from happening?
