Check out this cheeky fellow! Last few days this guy's been walking up to me in the back yard, bold as brass, making me think I must be some kind of Disney princess or something, and yesterday hubby informs me he's been feeding him, and it's not cos I'm irresistibly attractive to scrub turkeys at all!

We have a femsle wild turkey that comes by a lot to eat under my bird feeders but she doesn't come near us.

Owners want; designers plan; pets discard. Here's Nameliss using this spot for a nibble. This is her nighttime perch too! Don't know why. She has multiple choices, different sizes and locations. I check her feet but after a decade+ no problems. I wish I could get a video; One foot on edge, one on perch and body twisted to reach food. My back hurts just watching!

I took this picture while cleaning the bird room earlier. All of the birds in one picture. (The Budgies were loose for a while earlier, so it was Sprite's turn. She can't be loose with them.)

I have one of those big double cages, too, and the same clear green bowl. I like those bowls for seed because they're shallow so the hulls don't bury uneaten seed. I use separate ones for their chop. Water is in large bowls so they can bathe too.

I mount one of those thick rope perches on top of the cage for them to perch on.

I would put a tension rod in front of the window or to the left in the alcove and hang things from it. I have a 4 tier cat tower on wheels that can be moved around with a playgym on top

I think it's "nesty" behavior because I've never had a male budgies act like this and she's very hormonal. She already laid her first clutch of four eggs at only 6 months old (I took them away). I hope she doesn't lay an egg inside my shirt!

Yvons is staring at me. Yep.. always observant, LOL!

And Yvons had the veggie bowl balanced perfectly... I couldn't open the food door without knocking the bowl off, and Yvons wouldn't let me grab the bowl through he door, LOL!!

Wow! It looks like a Magic Bowl perched on the metal ring. Did he put it there?

I'd put a stick through the bars and knock it back onto the ring, then take it out through the food door. He will probably attack the stick but sticks don't bleed as much as fingers!

Yes he did! He was playing with it, then left to play with something else, and he left the bowl like that, LOL!
