Maui - Sun Conure,
Gus - Yellow Collared Macaw
Birds have the best personalities, what is a fun thing your bird does?

Gus (yellow collared macaw) plays peek-a-boo by sticking his head out of a ferret tube and yelling "peek a boo!" and quick jumping back into the tube. He comes back out when you say, "Where's Gus??? Peek a boo!!"

I really should get it on video, it's the cutest.

Please share! :)

Bitty hangs upside down from her "balcony," hanging on by two toes. She twirls around wildly, playing with her other foot (like a dog chasing its tail), seemingly oblivious to the almost 6 foot fall awaiting her (she's fallen before). She doesn't seem to have a care in the world.

I'm going to try to get it on video, but she freezes every time I even look at my cell phone camera.

It's so funny how they know when you want to take their picture or start a video. They either move around too much or stop doing whatever they were doing!

Lucy jumped off her cage for the first time today. I was making a hotdog in the kitchen and heard a *flutter**sqwak**thwump* i looked into the bedroom, looked to my boyfriend and he said "bird went m.i.a?" "yup, bird went m.i.a" *scritch scritch scritch* *SQWAK!* there's lucy, peeking out from behind the sofa in the bedroom staring us down with those baby brown eyes. *sqwak!* we called her to us just to see if she'd really come. every 3 steps she'd sqwak her cute little happy sqwak and we'd call here "'mere lucy! come on! time for lunch!" she followed us all the way to the living room, climbed up the couch (not fly, climbed) and sat on the arm rest for lunch today :) I don't know if it's funny but it was darn cute and it was very very fun :D

Every time i let my 5mo Hahn's Macaw, Joey, out of the cage he crawls onto my lap, flops over onto his back and begins playing with his feet like a human baby would. It's absolutely adorable! He also says "Hi!" Whenever someone walks past. :)

i like it the most when nut is highly interested in something! ie a toe, coins, she will slink, like a rat across the floor/table etc for item

Oh, they definitely know when they're not supposed to have something....

SNEAKY!!

Whenever Emmie, my GCC, wants to be let out, she climbs down to the bottom of her cage and flips over on her back until I let her out. It's actually the reason I bought her, she was doing it for me in the pet store and I fell in love!

Merlin has a stuffed parrot named Paulie. Its the Dr Seuss character, his granny got for him for xmas. He will sit beside Paulie & give him loud kisses & then w/no warning he will "flog" him & knock him to the floor. He laughs like a wicked witch when he falls.

The second day our CAG Mariah was with us I walked through the dining room early in the morning to let the dogs out. After I walked by her cage I heard, "Sssshhhhhh....go on...go lay down....no....go on...go lay down...ssshhhhh". It's great to have someone else take care of keeping the dogs in line. :)

Wow funny, that is uncanny! haha.
Well it's funny when I put all 3 musketeers ontop of their cage or on their special mini(not so mini to me)tree the budgie couple would sit and groom, then pepe would get in between them and push them away from eachother fluffing his own head and waving it in front of Marie or Jerrry- hoping for a scartch.(=
And it's fun when out of no where Jerry lets out some loud squeaks squaks and screams and pepe quietly squacks back like if Jerry scorned him! hah
