Hi everyone!
Obviously I'm new to this forum and I'm also new to parrot ownership.
I've had 'Peep' my little 1-2 year old girl for a few weeks now. I found her online in an ad that came with a cage and all her supplies as her last owner said she loved her cage. The man I got her from seemed to be very knowledgeable and seemed to really care about her. He said he was getting rid of her because he also has lovebirds and didn't have enough time to give her enough attention.
I've been trying to get her to venture out of her cage using treats and millet spray. She seems excited to see me when I come see her and she's comfortable with me putting my hands in her cage to change her food/water. Is there any tricks I can use to try coax her out of her cage or should I just leave her..? I'd love to be able to bond with her more or at least let her get some exercise from flying around...
