Sneezing??

Chia has been sneezing. At least I think its sneezing. She blows air out her nostrils. She stretches her neck up and blows air....It is the strangest thing I have seen. Does anyone know what this is? She is eating normally, drinking, bathing, playing etc. Just every now and then she does this. I can't get her in for a check up until after christmas. Is this a sneeze?

No one smokes inside or uses teflon, candles, air fresheners, toxic cleaners etc.

My birds sneeze every once in a while which is normal for them. I think now that it is winter Chia is sneezing because it is so dry. I hear that getting a humidifier may help.

I was glad to find this thread so that I didn't ask the same question again. Wally was sneezing alot the first night we brought him home. He hasn't done it as much now that we have a humidifier but he still does it. My question is this, how much is too much? He has no discharge from his nose that we can see. He is new to our family (we have only had him since Thursday night) so we don't really know his habits, behaviors, and quirks yet. We also don't know much of anything about his life before we brought him home. (The person just wanted to get rid of him, she was not interested in giving us much information about him at all)

This is the most important thing. If there is any mucous it could be something to be concerned about - but if not some amount of sneezing is normal - especially during the winter.

Auggie will sneeze occasionally - but it's never just one. He'll sneeze a dozen times in a row sometimes. But these 'sneeze-fits' are pretty rare.
