very nice. i love that first one. <3

When I see others home made toys I kind of cringe looking at the ones I make. Lots of popsicle sticks, card-stock cut into squares, wooden parts I scavenge from other toys. However, my little guy loves to destroy them! I did just get a workbench for Christmas and used it for the first time to nite. Now cutting the poplar planks and drilling holes is a lot easier.

great job! what did you put inside the basket? im always looking for ideas i use lots of popsicle sticks and paper towel/toilet paper roll cardboard pieces and they love to destroy them no matter how i arrange them!

I'm exactly the same way, and as you can see my toys are nothing near as exceptional as most of hetoys I have seen from so many here, butI figure as long as they're safe and fun formy babies I try not to go with my artsy-perfectionist personality as I seem to do to myself with everything else, hahaha.
The basket just has popsticks and cardboard in it so far... my wheels are still turning on what else to make. I need to now fill the Quaker's cage I'm expectin soon.
I swear I've done as much "nesting" with my birds as I did with my kids when I was pregnant, lol.

I love finding people who adore their feathered babies as much as I do mine! I am always racking my brain for new toys or recipies. I am so glad I found this site!

great job on that first one. i want to do that eventually too :). what exactly is the second one,, kinda hard to tell from my picture in my opinion.

Thanks! The second one is a hanging basket, to fill with toys that also doubles a a full swing. Buku can fully fit in it (and them some) and play with his foot toys and hang out.

Those are great toys ! Though I make REALLY horrible ones, one day I hope that my parants will lend me an extra 50$ without giving me the eye and lecturing me on how I'm wasting my money and buy a toy maker package at mysafebirdstore.com with safe rope or something to hang.
