I know someone who was given 3 parrots(1 yellow nape amazon and a female eclectus bonded with a second Amazon. He only took the birds to sale for profit since they were free. The cages are too small and they are neglected. I already own a green cheek conure and my boss and I payed him 300 for the non bonded Amazon and will keep it as a shop parrot in the office.. The man is left with the bonded pair and they need a better home. Someone help I can't responsibly take on any more

can you let us know where in the world this is happening?

Thank you for taking the rescue. I hioecwr have members bear there that can take in adtional parrots.
Is this a matter for ASPCA?

I cant cough up more money to buy the other two,so I can't give them to a rescue. Someone needs to buy them. He's saying 500 for the pair. The Amazon we bought from him is in a cage so small,my green cheek conure lives in a larger one.

Message me about them if your in the area. I figure any home is better than where they are now.

Joshua, I'm in Bossier. Male or Female Eclectus? And what is the Amazon? YH, DYH, YN? Male, Female?

Neglect is a criminal offence, you don't have to buy them because either the police or the ASPCA wil confiscate and take them to a rescue centre. You just have to report it.

Anyone who pays the guy for these parrots is simply reinforcing his despicable behavior of seeking profit at the expense of the birds' welfare. This is a job for law enforcement.
