Last night Stephen couldn't get comfy. He kept running around trying to find a spot to settle in while I read a book.

Finally he found one. We sat like this for more than half an hour. What fun roosts do your birds have?

This is Sassi's favorite place to nap. I sit in the recliner, elbow on the arm rest and hand in the air. She will recline as far back as you will let her.

I love your comment. Skittles is very possessive of me, whether that is good or bad- it is what it is and with my lifestyle, it's a non-issue.

But there is nothing sweeter than when he climbs into my shirt and goes to sleep. He will try to burrow in my chest hair and he always seems to go to sleep right where my heart is. It's just too precious sometimes I get teary eyed. It's just incredible how much he trusts me.

It's not something they just give to us. We earn it. While there are other ways a bird will show trust and bonding with their owner, I just find his methods to be super special.

I think that its not a Love and Trust issue with RB, he just never chills-out. A still moment would likely tie into a moment or two prior to falling asleep for the evening.

OMG! that is too cute! Sheldon will rest in the palm of my hand while I scratch his head and neck. He likes the top of my head too, it's more of his way of getting my attention, especially when he crawls down my face.. sheesh. He REALLY likes to crawl around in my shirt and chew holes in them. LOL.
