Stolen birds~ North Carolina

What's the bounty on the lowlifes up to ??? I'm sort of in between seasons.

Poor birdies, I wonder where they are now.

This is so sad, and they were stolen during business hours, thats brave- these people might be dangerous. I never allow many people on my property or even tell many people I have birds for this reason. I had a repair guy working on my internet the other day and we hid our birds upstairs and turned the TV loud up there just to be safe.

I agree, the robbers must be very brave to steal exotic birds in a busy store with employees and customers. Many people will do anything for an exotic bird like a pretty conure or a macaw , which we all bird owners should know. Which means that you shouldnt go telling everybody that you have a 1000$ Brazilian or Australian bird. I just have budgies so I'm not worried but when I get my sun conure I will try not to tell everybody that I have an exotic birds as the neighborhood I'm in as had car burglaries , robbers, even drunk teenagers so I'm not taking the chance

Its sad that we have to worry about that. Luckily, my dogs are not very patient with unknowns near the door or even the yard and they go nuts. I didnt have a door bell for years because I knew someone was at the door with their barking.

In any case, its good to be vigilant and keep a low profile. Times are tough and there are opportunists that will do anything for a quick buck ... at the expense of an innocent bird.

Gulp***:11: and im only 5 miles from the n.c. border all i can say is that they would have a very bad day trying to steal my Kenai. And if any of yall catch those B#&@-^-££÷£_£ send em my way. Ill straighten em out and teach em a lesson.

If you watched the video it seemed like the store was unsupervised, except for the video cameras~ I think I read somewhere that they were in the store for about an hour and the birds were in their cages...also the woman in the video appears to be pregnant

right now $1000 reward
