My GCC really likes chewing up tea bags, has anyone else seen this with your babies? And or, what odd things do your babies like to eat?:rainbow1:

There are just so many different Teas available that to advise whether this is a good idea or not is unrealistically demanding. It sounds like fun, but take great care that your Bird is not interacting with the grindings.

some tea bags are stapled together. I don't think letting a bird get a hold of a staple would be a good idea ether.

Most tea has caffeine....bad for birdies.

I don't allow it. Levi actually opens up my cupboard, the one where I keep my tea. He tries to get the tea bags out of the boxes before I catch him. I have a couple of slide outs in my cupboards & he figured out how to open them.
I drink a lot of tea and I have many that are medicinal in addition to the caffeine. I consider them a danger to his wellbeing. I'm actually going to have my husband put a safety latch on that one. (a Levi proof type of thing) :)
