The Day I Brought Kiki Home

I wanted to share with you a video of when I was over at our more ''known'' local breeder, he breeds Double Yellow Headed Amazons, Orange Wing Amazons, Blue Front Amazons, And Xanthopteryxes, Mealy amazons, Yellow Crowned Amazons, White Fronted Amazons, Meyers, and Green Winged Macaws All by him self! He's got huge, linked aviaries that go both inside and outside, and he also runs a cage company named Flexipet where he sells all kinds of accessories for any animal, and makes custom designed cages with excellent quality.

In this video below you will see a video of how Kiki behaved when I was about to bring her home 4 months ago. This was probably stressful for her since just 30 minutes after the video was recorded, her 2 sisters and brother just got taken away from someone who came all the way from Norway, and Kiki knew what was about to happen. She was the parrot who chose me, she showed the interest, and I knew from the moment I saw her, that she would be my beloved companion for a very, very long time. :32:

PS: We were speaking Swedish in the video, sorry for that. I just wanted to share my experience with you guys. I know you all love it when I do. Hehe. :)

Hey, I may not understand Swedish, but I enjoy listening anyway. Thanks for sharing!

Awww... look at that sweetie just learning to perch and *so* excited to meet her new daddy. She knew you wouldn't be able to resist her:D

Boy were those YNA's a 'lively' bunch (can you hear my sarcasm here)

Awww, thank you for sharing Kiki's homecoming day! You're right, we love it!

That aviary sounds like a happy place. Hearing Swedish was a treat too, even I didn't understand a word. :)

Yeah those YNA's were quite interested in me when I came in. They were very quiet though, and were displaying a bit of agressiveness due to them having babies in the nest. Thank you for the comment though. :D

You're welcome, haha well..That aviary was and is a very lively place, it's just that I did'nt get all the other parrots on video, that were outside, making lots of noise. Swedish is a nice friendly sounding language isn't it? :)
