Here is some pictures from a zoo I went to in October.

I took a picture of the male ostrich and the two female ostriches. The male was territorial and no doubt would have trampled me or anyone else if he could.

Since the weather was cooler the bears were out more in the open

I saw those two Australian individuals lurkin' among your pics!

The Red Kangaroo looked nice and laid back, but the Black Swan seemed a bit put out by his goosey companions.

Do you know what kind of water buffalo that is? I've seen it before, but the name won't come to mind (hate not knowing!).

I was going to ask too, I thought it was especially CUTE for a bovine...

I am sorry for the late reply. I know the zoo has Cape and Forest buffalo but I forgot which species the one I took a picture of belonged to. It is a cute little bovine though. Yes the swan and male ostrich showed territorial behavior. The goose kept on walking and left the swan alone. The animals were pretty calm for the most part. The apes were not always calm with each other. I will post more pictures tommorrow.

I finally got around to posting some more pictures from the zoo.

Here is the big cats that live at the zoo.

My favorite exibit is the African Wild dogs. I have them on film trotting around later during the day (around 3 pm).
