Anyone else?

I just said to Alex "I love your screaming, I want to hear it forever" paused, then added "not, like, in a horror movie kinda way" 😂

For context Alex is an old man cockatiel and today I've just sorta been in a thinky kinda mood I guess🤷🏼‍♀️😅

I often have to tell my cockatiel Fang that I wish he would stop shaggin' his vegetables. Not that there's anything wrong with it ....

Winter (Dog) likes to clean up after the birds after they get their veggies. She sticks her head where the birds try to nip her. I frequently have to say something like '(Name of bird), quit trying to eat the dog...'

I think it's funny. Somethings she mimics has me question me. I picked up the habit of knocking on something to attract dogs attention. Then I call him and say come here. I don't have to yell or scream. Nameliss now knocks on food dish, perches, toys etc yelling come here. She knocks, me (like dog

When I walk in the back door after being out for several hours I always say the same thing before they even see us. I say "We're HOME baby birds, yes we are!"

Handfeeding hatchling baby budgies is tedious process and I'm ultra cautious to prevent choking or aspirating formula. My mantra to a baby when I'm feeding one is always "You're such a good baby, swallow, swallow", as I watch the formula travel down their throat into their crop soothing I hope, to he three I've raised. I know they were soothing to me! So now I always say "You're such a good baby!" They're ALL baby birds to me!

I don't refer to their cages as cages- they're their "houses" and cage paper is "carpeting".

Bird poops are "potties".
Their romaine lettuce is "salad" and the device I use to attach a big leaf to their cage is a "salad bowl".
And they love to do "zoomies" around the room.
