Pineapple & Sunshine--Gray/wildtype male cockatiels
While screwing around on the internet, I came across some nice pictures of a parrot I've never seen; I've only read about them.

Looking at the structure of their faces, it's almost hard to believe it's a parrot. You can definitely see why some call them the 'Vulturine parrots'.

I saw some of these for sale not to long back but I can't remember where, its amazing that something that looks so much like a vulture only eats fruits and flowers :eek:.....lol
 
well, it does have a hook bill, so i guess it is. really reminds me of a vasa parrot alot though...

Very unique parrots. They have many of the simular traits of the vasa parrot.
 
I had a visitor yesterday that told me she was afriad of birds and to please put Rosie back in the cage. Oh my golly she would really be afriad of this parrot big time.
 
Hehe... I think I would be too scared to pick taht bird up. It reminds me of a small pterodactyl!!!

A face only a mother could love :eek:, well his mother anyway....
