Amazon bath time.

Today in SoCal we had some bang up thunderstorms.

It drove first the twins and then Bingo into wanting a mist bath.

It also caused Bella to want to get wet during her "Red butt shower" today.
When she want's to get wet in the shower she bounces back and forth between
the window sill and the shower door. If she wants to stay dry she just sits still and
looks out the window.

With the twins it's Merlin that signals his desire for a bath.
He sits in the corner of the cage and looks at me.
When he knows he has my attention he lifts both wings up
and sort of rubs his beak against the bars.

Interesting that a thunderstorm would create an interest (demand) for a shower. Wonder how they made the connection between Rain and an indoor shower. Long ago, it was fairly common for Wild Catch adult Parrots to make that connection.
