Hey,

Does anyone know about this tongue behaviour? It seems to almost never stop.
[Edit: the 3rd clip in the sequence is half speed fyi]
Thanks!

I have seen this once at a zoo. No one seemed concerned. I asked because it looked so weird. The attendant said he/she was excited and wanted something. It wasn't uncommon for the species. I'd take consider an avian vet to be sure.

We had a Yellow-Nape that used to do that. The Vet explained it was just a habit. A neurosis, if you will. Scratchy-Tongue Beanie. Nothing to worry about.

I agree, a visit to the vet would be a good idea just to be on the safe side.

Yup. I had a galah used to do this all the time when he was bored lol. I concur on the vet visit tho if not impossible, couldn't hurt to get a professional opinion
