Total Breakthrough!

So despite Sweeney's little biting problem, I had an amazing breakthrough with him! I was scratching his head, and he closed his eyes and actually lifted his wings for me! The second i started petting him under his wing, he laid his head on me and fell asleep! Im so proud of the progress he has made!

Thanks! Haha! He still gets beaky and refuses to step up, but this is major progress!

That it is! Conures can be very opinionated. There are times I got to pick up Skittles or get him to step up and he takes off. But bear in mind, for your bird to do what he did he has to have a great deal of trust in you. So that's just awesome.
